Wrong Fuel in Car Manor Park - Petrol in Diesel Car Manor Park

It was about 5 pm on a Thursday and although we were promised a dry and fresh afternoon, it hadn't given up on raining! James and I were sitting going over the recent tennis, waiting for the 8th job for the day to arrive. Eventually we received the phone call from a lovely women on a company excursion who had gone to the Sainsburys filling station and filled petrol in her diesel Manor Park lease car. She was very affected by the sounds of it, crying "I just can't believe that I have wrecked the car! I'm so accustomed to filling my petrol vehicle that I totally did not remember that I was using a diesel!" We advised her to relax and not to be concerned, and that things like this sadly happen. She had managed to get the car into a safe spot and, because it was no more than a short distance off from our van, we could get to the lady right away. The contaminated fuel was drained and she was able to go home to the motel she was residing at. Despite the fact we got very wet, it was all worth the effort to watch her drive away calm and a lot less worried. A job well done in my mind!
